- Position Title: Dietitian (Grade 2) - Integrated Cancer Centre (Oncology)
- Classification: AJ1 - AJ4
- Salary per hour (exc. super): $44.17 - $49.74
- Hours per fortnight: 70
- Employment Status: Fixed term Part-time

**Role Description**
- The Grade 2 Dietitian role is situated in the Integrated Cancer Centre in Oncology.

**The Team**
- Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
- The Nutrition and Dietetics team, as part of the allied health team, is focused on achieving the best outcomes for clients and patients, using evidenced based principles. The Nutrition and Dietetics team comprises approximately 26 staff and provides services in acute, sub-acute, and residential and community based settings. Nutrition and Dietetic Services aims to assist in optimising patients, residents and client's health, nutritional status and quality of life. This service is provided to inpatients and outpatients, residential care, psychiatric services, home visits and outreach services to community clients. Dietitians perform nutrition assessments, prescribe therapeutic diets and/or nutrition support and provide dietary counselling and education.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : Recognised Degree or higher qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics and be eligible to be a member of the Dietitians Association and Accredited Practicing Dietitian program
- Essential : Ability to meet the requirements of the Bendigo Health Allied Health Credentialing and Professional Standards
- Desirable : Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience appropriate to a Dietitian Grade 2 including competency to provide individual nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and outpatients as required
- Desirable : Use evidence based practice guidelines when conducting nutrition assessments and developing individualised care plans
- Desirable : Ability to work highly effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-functional environment to ensure high quality nutritional client care
- Desirable : Demonstrated time management skills to manage a caseload, meet deadlines, maintain schedules, set goals/objectives, as required
