**The Position**

Position Title: Dietitian Grade 1
Classification: AI4 - AI7
Salary per hour (exc. super): $30.25 - $42.86
Hours per fortnight: 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO every 4 weeks and 32 hours per fortnight (2 positions available, hours negotiable)
Employment Status: Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time

**Role Description**

The Nutrition and Dietetics department, as part of the allied health team, is focused on achieving the best outcomes for clients and patients, using evidenced based principles. The Nutrition and Dietetics team comprises approximately 25 staff and provides services in acute, inpatient rehabilitation, Residential Care and community based settings.

We have two positions available within Community Health Dietetics and Acute Hospital Care.

**The Team**

Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.

The Nutrition and Dietetics team, as part of the allied health team, is focused on achieving the best outcomes for clients and patients, using evidenced based principles. The Nutrition and Dietetics team comprises approximately 16 staff and provides services in acute, sub-acute, and residential and community based settings. Nutrition and Dietetic Services aims to assist in optimising patients, residents and client's health, nutritional status and quality of life. This service is provided to inpatients and outpatients, residential care, psychiatric services, home visits and outreach services to community clients. Dietitians perform nutrition assessments, prescribe therapeutic diets and/or nutrition support and provide dietary counselling and education.
