**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a Water Maintenance Leading Hand for our Yarra Valley water contract, based in Mitcham.

In this position, you will be required to supervise and coordinate site works as directed.

You will also ensure site works are being undertaken in a safe manner and have all site works documentation accurately controlled, filled out and available.

**You will also be required to**:

- Supervise and control site works to ensure compliance with specifications, safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with the execution of Programmed Works as directed, eg valve insertions, locate hydrants, developer shutdowns
- Provide advice to field staff and management as required for completion of site works to a high standard
- Ensure site works are being undertaken efficiently with mínimal wastage of time and resources
- Be well-presented, professional and polite at all times and provide exceptional customer experience to all customers and stakeholders

**About You**
Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ field experience in water and sewer infrastructure or similar accompanied with the following:

- Certificate III - Water Operations and/or Civil Construction
- White/Red Card or willing to obtain
- MR - Medium Rigid licence
- Have some or all of the following, Excavator licence, Dogman, CSE, EWP, Working at Heights
