**The Role**
As a key member of one of our change management teams, you will shape and drive engagements with a diverse range of stakeholders across Commonwealth entities and state and territory governments, private industry, and the public. The Engagement Officer works with an Engagement Manager to establish our engagement channels with our system users and other stakeholders. This is a vital role in ensuring an active partnership with our system users in the design and delivery process and system users are informed of the impacts of delivery to their business. The role is a true blend of operational work to set up and run engagement sessions or facilitate user experience and acceptance testing, and work to help shape strategic outcomes by designing research activities to collect and analyse data on stakeholder experiences.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS 6 may include:
- Administering end-user engagements, including establishing meetings and events, taking detailed minutes, and facilitating the delivery of actions.
- Developing and maintaining positive collaborative relationships with impacted internal and external stakeholders.
- Co-ordinating research and analysis to support decision-making on end-user support tactics.
- Processing data and results of user research activities and draft reports on findings.
- Working as effective part of a cross-functional delivery team by contributing to team planning and co-ordination activities, reporting on work progress, and assisting others as required.
- Supporting other change management specific tasks as needed to meet team outcomes. This may include the development of communication and training products.
