**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting vacancy for an ongoing **Finance Officer** to join our Finance team.

As a Finance Officer, you will work closely with our Management Accountant and Senior Management Accountant to deliver quality financial and budgetary services to branches units and line managers within the relevant Division, to assist the business operate efficiently and maintain a robust internal control framework. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and systems. This includes:

- Coordinating budget processes across branches and units, including uploading and reconciling budgets to the general ledger.
- Provision of responsive and accurate data analysis, general advice and support on financial and budget management matters.
- Delivering timely financial reports, data analysis including reviewing budgets against actuals investigating deviation and to provide support staff and management.
- Preparing accurate financial documentation for the acquittal of grant-funded projects.
- Maintaining, reviewing, and reconciling financial data to meet end-of-year requirements.
- Building quality relationships within the Branch and agency to promote compliance with financial policies.

**Contract**: Ongoing

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
- Interchange between other Finance roles at the same classification when business needs arise, or when requested by senior Finance staff

**Remuneration**: ASO4 - $76,561 min - $80,256 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours.
