Join an innovative **State Government Department** who is looking to engage a skilled and experienced **Project Manager** to join their multidisciplinary team based in **Canberra.** The successful **Project Manager** will lead and contribute to the delivery of a range of infrastructure procurement, contract

management and project management and program management activities. The successful **Project Manager** will secure a **12-month contract + 2x 12-month extension** options with a **rewarding hourly rate.**

The successful **Project Manager **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Review technical specifications, financial reports, programs, and briefs, and technical content of submissions and tender documents for adequacy, compliance and fitness for purpose.
- Monitoring and controlling time, cost and quality aspects of a program of procurement activities, contracts and projects.
- Write, review and advise on technical briefs, financial reports, minutes, procurement documents and other documents associated with procurement, contract and project management.
- Coordinating business cases, feasibility studies and related analysis for major infrastructure projects.

The successful **Project Manager **will have experience in the following:

- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, representational and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a client focused team and foster a positive and productive working environment.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in asset management for commercial property and buildings including preparation of asset planning documentation.
- Proven experience with project management, risk management, contract management, and/ or State or federal government procurement processes.
