**The Sporting Globe Robina is seeking a hard-working and vibrant Bartender to provide**
**support to the Front Of house team at our Sporting Globe venue.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE...**

As a **Bartender**, you will contribute to our goal of delivering an excellent customer experience though your drink preparation and outstanding customer focus.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Promoting our loyalty program to our customers
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages (including cocktails and mocktails) for bar and restaurant guests
- Upselling and suggest selling
- Following our steps of service
- Remaining guest focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience
- Interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving food and drinks
- Assessing customer needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Checking customers’ identification and confirming that it meets legal drinking age
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Supporting the team by running food and drinks to guest and clearing plates and drinks
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations

**To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience within the Hospitality industry
- Experience working in both Bar and Restaurant environments
- Sound knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture
- RSA certificate and TAB Certificate
- Experience and knowledge of cocktails highly regarded
