**A CALL OUT TO ALL CAFE MANAGERS**

Bake Bar Randwick is a funky, fast paced café and artisan bakery selling great coffee, fresh food and a wide selection of freshly baked breads and creative pastries.

**To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;**
- At least 2 year's management experience in food retail/or a café
- At least 2 year’s barista experience
- Effective staff management and training skills
- Proven customer service skills
- An energetic and vibrant personality

The Café Manager oversees the efficient running and profitability of the Café and managing employees.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Coordinate daily front and back of the Café operations
- Ensure highest quality food and service is always delivered to the customer
- Monitor customer satisfaction
- Assist with catering orders and special orders
- Organise and motivate the team
- Ensure sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness and maintenance of food service and dining areas comply with health and safety regulations
- Handle and resolve customer complaints; and provide high level of customer service
- Ensure all staff are well informed of any business changes for example; menu changes and ingredient changes, special occasions or orders
- Organise and prepare staff daily and weekly rosters
- Assist with the recruiting, training and supervising of staff to ensure compliance with Bake Bar policies and procedures
- Cash handling and retail banking
- Health and safety of employees and patrons
- Monitor and maintain equipment to prevent malfunction and deterioration
- Ensure all work and storages are properly cleaned, organised and maintained during and at the end of the shift
- Safe operation of cooking appliances and maintaining hygienic working conditions

**Required Skills, Experience and Competencies**
- Fluent in English
- Excellent organisation skills
- Experience in training and people management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Sound numeracy and computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
- Positive with a can-do attitude, willingness to be flexible
- Permanent resident of Australia
- Seeking a long term, full time role

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
