We are currently hiring an experienced **Storeperson **to work at our **Fyshwick** **(Canberra ACT) **warehouse

**This is an Indigenous
- identified position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination act)**

**Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Counterbalance forklift operations to assist with despatch and receiving of goods
- Inventory management and cycle counting
- Use of computer systems for data entry and use of Freight Management System
- Face to face and phone call enquiries
- Problem Solving customer requests

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Pick/pack operations
- Current Forklift licence with recent experience on a counterbalance forklift is preferred, however assistance to obtain a forklift licence can be considered
- Experience with receiving and despatch preferred
- Comprehensive computer skills and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a physically demanding role
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Motivation to learn and progress into other roles within the business
- Must be comfortable to work in a small team

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fyshwick ACT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
