**Operations and Reliability Technician**

**What you will enjoy doing**

The purpose of this role is to provide the site support in the operation and maintenance of the Air Separation Unit, Oxygen PSA, CO2 Plant and Hydrogen Plant across BOC’s WA operations. The key objectives are ensuring business target KPI’s are achieved and that plants are operated & maintained in a safe, reliable, efficient manner in line with all company and regulatory requirements.

Based at our production site in Kwinana, WA and reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for working in collaboration with the team in WA including key customers. Core responsibilities will be to safely operate and maintain the efficient and reliable production of the ASU (Air Separation Unit), CO2 and SMR (Steam Methane Reformer) whilst proactively seeking out productivity improvements.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Permit to work issuing and coordination
- Coordination of plant isolations
- Over seeing contractors' work on site andProcessing of work orders in SAP
- Responsible for day-to-day site support of plant operation
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality
- Planning and execution of maintenance tasks
- Responsible for storage and control of spare parts in the plants
- Assisting in plant operations including shutdown and restart

**What makes you great**

To be successful you will have
- Extensive trade experience in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation
- Proven operating experience and demonstrable exposure to process plant operations in relevant industries
- Proven experience with maintenance of process plants
- Understanding of CMMS and Maintenance strategies
- Experienced with control of work
- Demonstrated prior knowledge with PTW
- Isolations and risk assessment
