**_About the role_**

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. The Administrative Officer is the first point of contact for the Health Information team, providing administration support to the Health Information team and supporting whole of hospital IT activities such as processing IT user access requests.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing of requests for release of information from health records and system including requests from doctors, specialists, other hospitals and general requests for basic information and summaries.
- Accurate data entry in to the iPM Patient Administration System ensuring timely tracking of medical records
- Administrations tasks to support the Health Information team such as purchasing, filing, timesheets, mail distribution
- Supporting the Release of Information Officer during periods of leave and high demand.

To be successful in this role you will need to have;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
