Lecturer (Laboratory Medicine)

Overview:
- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary Academic Level B ($110,868 - $131,659 + 17% Superannuation- Based at the Bundoora campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field.- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.- A demonstrated ability to coordinate large courses (or other relevant and transferable experience) and experience in the preparation and delivery of programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. This includes designing high quality curriculum and program materials and the ability to implement innovative approaches to student-centred learning and quality improvement.- Demonstrated ability to support student issues related to effective learning.-
- Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding for projects through effective liaison with industry and government.- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to financial, governance and quality management systems within either industry or the university sector.- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills including the ability to consult with senior executives, external bodies, produce executive reports, negotiate agreed directions, outcomes and targets within a collaborative environment
