**SUPPORT WORKER**

Proactive Community Services is looking for an experience and exceptional Support Worker on a casual basis to join our team located in North St Mary’s.

Support worker will be providing supports to a Male young adult. The role will consist of roster based hours they range from Monday to Sunday, during the day, evenings and nights and sleep overs.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparing meals
- Domestic cleaning
- Community access, one-on-one with the participant (e.g bringing them to their doctor appointments, having a coffee, outside in the community etc.)
- Providing 24-hour care and sleepover shifts

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Driver’s license
- Patience and emotional resilience
- Desire to improve the life of another
- Able to adapt and stay claim in challenging situations
- 100 points of ID

**DESIRABLES**
- Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent
- Experience working with vulnerable people
- First Aid + CPR certificate
- Working with Children’s Check
- Working with Vulnerable People
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
