**Organisational Profile**
Our client is an equipment hire business with more than 50 years’ experience in their industry on a global platform. Their local operations cover Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. They are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer to temporarily join their high performing team located in Braeside along the South East.
**Position Description**
This role is reporting to the Billing Manager.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following duties:
- Contracts and Billing Administration
- Financial reporting relating to administration activities
- Allocation of rechargeable costs to customer invoicing
- Enter, maintain and close all rental contracts; and maintain rental folders for Local Service Centres.
- Customer call handling to address customer requests and prompt correction of errors - inbound and outbound - local service Centres.
- Ensure a timely accurate and effective workflow of the established process (contract administration and invoicing administration).
- Monthly anniversary/final billing - checking for final approval.
- Process credit notes.
- Maintenance of contract files.
- Monthly analysis of freight, fuel and xhire recoveries
- Obtaining supplier quotes and managing the timely receipt of supplier invoices
- Support audit requirements as necessary
- Other adhoc duties as required
- Proven experience within a high paced, administration related work environment
- Proficient Computer skills in MS Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven high accuracy data entry skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
