TUTORS WANTED: Literacy and Numeracy

Literacy for Life provides specialist, individualised literacy and numeracy tutoring for students from the early primary years, through high school and college, to adults.

Our teaching approach is a highly supportive, explicit method which teaches effective literacy skills and strategies in reading, grammar, spelling and writing, and focuses on an understanding of the foundational and applied skills of mathematics. We target these literacy and numeracy skills towards enhancing reading, writing, and numeracy at school, for enjoyment and communication, and towards enhancing general life, study, and employment.

LITERACY: reading, grammar, spelling, and writing

NUMERACY: foundation to high level skills in number, problem solving and designing

LEARNING SUPPORT: meaningful progress for students with a range of needs, difficulties, and disabilities

ADULT LEARNING: for life, career, and further study
