**The Firm**
Our client is one of Australia’s leading specialist insurance law firms with over 800 employees nationally.

**The Opportunity**
This opportunity is to join a busy Commercial Litigation practice group, specialising in litigation, arbitration, mediation, expert determination and alternative dispute resolution.

You will be supporting the Partner, Senior Associate and two junior lawyers.

**Some of the responsibilities of this role include**:

- Preparing correspondence
- Preparing affidavits and other court documents
- Preparing briefs to counsel and court books
- File opening and drafting costs agreements
- File management
- Preparing billing reports and issuing tax invoices
- Diary management and scheduling meetings
- Conducting property, personal and company searches
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
- Arranging travel (flights and accommodation)
- General administrative tasks

**About you**:
This position would suit someone who is experienced in either litigation or debt recovery work in the Magistrates' Court. You will be professional, highly organised and proactive.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 + years’ experience as a legal secretary in litigation.
