Our Federal Government is seeking a
**Finance Officer** with experience developing PowerBi reports who can commence ASAP

**About the role**:

- Meet tight deadlines and month end commitments, including bank and general ledger reconciliations and cash forecasting requirements
- Lead the development, implementation and review of systems, policies and procedures of the treasury function
- Provide specialist/technical advice and proactively undertake high level research, analysis and project work
- Work with relevant teams to create data extracts from the Department’s Financial Management Information Systems
- Provide training to departmental staff on the data extraction, report creation and production of relevant training materials as required

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrated financial and budget management experience
- Ability to undertake research and analysis and come to well-reasoned and substantiated (evidence-based) conclusions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills (both internal and external)
- Prior experience designing and developing financial reports and dashboards using analytic tools such as PowerBI
- The ability to judge competing priorities and work effectively with limited supervision
