**About the position**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an exceptional Music Teacher to join our progressive and supportive Music Department.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible.

**Essential to the role**
- Qualification in Music Education
- Experience with and/ or training in Early Childhood Education
- Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality co-curricular music experiences
- Propensity to infuse a Christian ethos into teaching practice
- Commitment to one's own ongoing learning, in alignment with the development directions of the Department
- Training and experience in the Kodaly, Orff-Shulwerk or Dalcroze methodologies
- Skills in choral direction for children
- Professional and personal integrity
- Being proactive and innovative
- Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator

**Desirable to the role**
- Awareness of and preferably experience with the Reggio Emilia approach
- Functional instrumental skills
