**About the Company**

Our client is currently seeking an experienced warehouse store-person to join their team in Seven Hills, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. The position sits within a friendly and specialised team, who work within the engineering industry, manufacturing state of the art components to be distributed internationally. If successful, you will be joining an organisation that prides itself on cleanliness, accuracy, organisation and safety. They will provide you with end to end training on your role and responsibilities.

**About the role**

The role is responsible for receiving and inventory related functions. This includes receiving POs, cycle counts, pick-packing parts for jobs, shipping and receiving of goods, assigning, and editing stock locations and all data entry associated with these functions.
- Ensure all incoming goods are received on the same day. All parts are checked to ensure they are correct and damage free; goods are identified with the documents such as PO I Delivery Docket from supplier and match. Any errors are brought to the attention of the supervisor.
- Ensure all receipts are processed the same day, delivered on the dock, and all transactions updated in the system.
- Pick and pack parts as required on picking slip then complete the transaction in appropriate system.
- Closely monitor PO due dates and expedite on the status for PO deliveries.
- Work independently, manage time effectively, and be well organized to handle a high-volume workload. Assist with stock takes.

**Requirements**:

- Previous warehouse/logistics/inventory experience including the dispatch and receipt of goods
- Forklift licence - advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
