We are seeking dedicated and experienced **Disability Support Workers (Male)** to join our team. Applicants must have availability for at least **4-5 days per week**. The participant has expressed a preference for a support worker with a **strong faith background**. The role includes supporting respite needs, facilitating community access, and encouraging the participant to engage in activities that help achieve their goals.

We also have multiple opportunities for support workers across various regions in **Sydney**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting individuals with **daily living skills**.
- Assisting with **social and recreational activities**.
- Implementing and monitoring practices that promote a **healthier lifestyle**.
- Empowering participants to achieve their personal goals.

This role involves working with participants with a range of needs, including both **low-level support** and **complex care**. Some participants may require assistance with **medication prompts**, while others may exhibit **complex behaviours**.

**About You**:

- You are experienced, professional, and compassionate.
- You have the skills to provide both practical and emotional support.
- Previous experience in a similar role is **highly regarded**.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glebe NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
