**Role**:
- Perform technical tasks that require a sound knowledge of technical principles that are used to develop and adapt work methods and make judgements where there are clear guidelines and limited options. This includes use of spreadsheet and google drive.
- Liaise with Assistant Principal, House Leaders, Wellbeing Team and Teachers about student absences, attendance patterns or issues to be followed up.
- Create Compass school events and activities for students with onsite alternative programs, when required.
- Process and maintain all records for internal and external students school suspensions.
- Monitor student absences and providing Heads of House/ Wellbeing Co-ordinators with observations for follow up. This may also include preparation of documentation for referral to the Department of students with significant unexplained absences.
- Maintain an orderly and rigorous student attendance record system including communications with parents/guardians in respect of unexplained absences, record and process absence data.
- Maintain records of students with medical conditions.
- Have responsibility for the school¿s First Aid program including recording student entry/exit and prepare inventories and requisitions for and maintaining all first aid kits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake clerical and keyboard duties in support of the school administration function.
- Provide document preparation support.
- Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the school¿s computer system.
- Prepare correspondence according to school procedures (e.g. sending out form letters).
- Check for simple inaccuracies in forms and correspondence such as spelling, punctuation and spacing.
- Liaise with and provide information to parents, staff and students about school administration procedures and policy, including use of Compass.
- Provide administrative support for specific school programs.
- Specialised support to achieve specific outcomes is a feature of range 2. Typically this will involve accountability for a single function, (e.g. ensuring data is properly maintained) or the operation of a work area (e.g. managing the day to day operation of a school office) under the direction of the principal or another senior manager.
