- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently
- A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- An energetic approach as this department can become extremely busy
- Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do

**Your responsibilities**

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Receiving food deliveries from various suppliers
- Fast approach in completing deliveries for frozen/chilled products. Making sure all products delivered, missed or damaged products are counted
- Responsible for food safety (compliant with food regulations, temperature of deliveries, stock rotation in accordance to dates and cleanliness of all food areas

**Together as a team**

A key role of the IKEA Food Team is to serve our customers ensuring they have a positive experience in our store to give our visitors a taste reason to return. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
