This Care Service Employee will be located in our homely 101 bed facility in Tweed Heads. **We currently have 8 hour shifts to choose from weekdays and weekends available.** Click on the link to learn more about Tweed Heads Residential Aged Care facility. **As a Care Service Employee, you will**: - Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities - Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing - Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids - Assist in mealtimes and social activities **About you**: To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or willingness to attain) Genuine enthusiasm, care, and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people Effective communication skills, both written and verbal A NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain) Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations **About Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT)**: - We are a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to empower older people to ‘live life to the full’.
