The **Office of Industrial Relations (OIR)** is seeking a **Principal Project Officer (Policy)** to support the **Data+ Program**. This role will involve leading the development of policies related to data governance, privacy, and security, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape data management policies, contribute to Cabinet submissions, and engage with stakeholders through workshops and consultations. This is a critical role in supporting OIR’s commitment to data excellence, enhancing its capability to manage data effectively across all operations.

**Key Qualifications**:

- A higher learning degree or equivalent in law, public policy, or information technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in policy development, preferably within data governance, privacy, or information security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear and effective policy documentation.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to data management (highly desirable).
- Experience working in a project or program environment (desirable).

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Full-time temporary contract until June 30, 2025, with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
- Standard working hours of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Payroll tax exemption for all engagements.

The **Data+ Program** is designed to improve OIR’s data capabilities, focusing on governance, technology, and data analytics to ensure data is managed securely and efficiently.
