**About the Opportunity**

The Factory Hand role will be to assist the team with the everyday activities within our Manufacturing portfolio. You will also be trained in powder coating and will, in time, take on the responsible for conducting surface preparation and powder coating of aluminium and steel product lines. Working with our MailSafe, BinSafe & GarageSafe product lines.

**More specifically you will**:

- Maintain good communication with the supervisor of the powder coat area
- Meet the time requirements for production quantities and quality through effective use of equipment and labour
- Ensure that the workspace is safe, clean and uncluttered and plant and equipment is fully maintained.
- Abrasive blasting, stripping and/or solvent cleaning to ensure the surface of products is free of any oils, dirt or rust as required
- Pre-treatment during which the product is treated with a chemical to further protect it and improve the surface for powder coating
- Ensure the quality of the products through visual inspection are according to the quality coat Powder Coater
- Ensure that all assigned tasks are produced and completed in full and on time, as directed by Supervisor
- Ensure correct powder coating procedures are followed
- Comply with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry
- Participate actively at the worksite to ensure production and productivity outcomes are met
- Comply with HELP’s Code of Conduct and all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

**This is a Full-Time position based at: Eagle Farm**

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

- Must be able to follow strict instructions, work orders and production schedule
- Ability to concentrate, multi-task and produce work with mínimal errors
- Good attention to details and works well within a team environment
- Must be able to follow strict instructions, work orders and production schedule
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers license
