Job Description:
Terex Australia is currently seeking an exceptional Mechanical Trades Assistant to expand our team as the business continues its rapid growth.

**Responsibilities**:
- Check and assemble crane parts to ensure smooth operation of machinery in the production house.- Practice and promote continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and identify possible cost reduction opportunities.- Carry out daily routine equipment maintenance as directed by the Team Leader.- Accurate update to paperwork and check sheet at stations.- Troubleshoot equipment problems to ensure quality and efficiency.- Maintain cycle time in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.- Take part in training and multi-skilling.- Ensure compliance to the Terex Lifting Policy, procedures and work instructions, documented quality system and all OH&S procedures and policies.

Experience Required- Mechanical aptitude.- Self-motivated and the ability to work as per instruction and with minimum supervision.- Ability to communicate written and orally.- Ability to read drawings and procedures.- Actively take part in team group projects.- To have own hand tools.

Desirable- Hydraulic.- Pneumatic.- Electrical.- Mechanical.- Crane and related machinery.- Quality assurance awareness.- Associated mechanical or trade background preferred but not essential.
