**Your new role**
We are seeking a passionate Research Fellow to expand our expertise in hydrogen-barrier coatings. Join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the Trailblazer Project which aims to develop aluminium-based hydrogen barrier coatings for gas transmission and distribution pipelines.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop Industry-Relevant Project Objectives: Ensure that project objectives are aligned with industry needs and meet scheduled project milestones.
- Collaborate Effectively: Engage in collaborative activities with team members, industry partners, affiliated associations, and the wider research community to advance project goals and foster professional relationships.

**About the project**

This two-year project is led by John Curtin Distinguished Professor Craig Buckley and will involve a team of five academics at Curtin University along with our industry partner, Cadoux Ltd. We are currently seeking one research fellow to join the team.

**Selection Criteria**:

- A doctoral qualification in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Preferably strong expertise in experimental methods for investigating transport properties of gases in metals and polymers.
- Experience in film deposition techniques.
- Proficiency in material characterisation techniques such as electron microscopy, XRD, FTIR, Raman, etc.
- Well-acquainted with gas-analysis and manometric instruments.
