Technology Delivery Lead

**Opportunity snapshot**:
SS&C Bluedoor is experiencing an exciting transformation period, undergoing a modernisation of its technology with a re-platforming to a microservices architecture. As the part of this journey, opportunity arises for a delivery manager with a cloud infrastructure background to lead the technology enablement workstream of its Fusion Microservices program. The Technical Delivery Lead will lead one or more cloud technology focussed scrum teams to work with Fusion microservices build, client delivery, Managed Service, and cloud governance teams to ensure the cloud infrastructure delivery is on schedule and within budget, design and implementation is fit for purpose and compliant, meets operational requirements, and is supported in production.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Lead end-to-end project management for the Fusion microservices technology enablement workstream, ensuring workstream objectives are met and stakeholders are aligned.
- Ensure workstream scope, goals, and deliverables are aligned with program outcomes, business objectives and company strategies.
- Manage workstream work/project plans, including tasks, timelines, priorities, resources, forecasting, and dependencies, and regularly track and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and manage workstream risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering open communication and managing expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery and support processes, including best practices in cloud infrastructure and security methodologies and frameworks.
- Ensure that work is completed within architecture frameworks, quality standards and best practices.
- Lead team meetings, providing clear direction, delegating tasks, and motivating team members to achieve workstream/program/business milestones.
- Prepare and present workstream status reports, performance metrics, and executive summaries to senior management and stakeholders.

**Education and qualification**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Agile certification is desired.

**Prior knowledge and skills**:

- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager in infrastructure projects with exposure to on premise and cloud infrastructure as well as DevOps pipeline, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering on time and within scope.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to both cloud and on-prem infrastructure is a plus.
