Bega Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Planner, in our Growth Channels and Customer Supply Chain team. This role will keep you on your toes, given the nature of our market leading, short shelf-life product range. The Supply Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of our orders with our trusted 3rd party suppliers. You will also have a front seat to some of our most exciting innovations to date
It is important the successful Supply Planner will be comfortable in a role with varied responsibility and be willing and able to step in for colleagues as and when required.
In addition, we are seeking a self-starter, with experience and genuine passion for identifying continuous improvement opportunities and initiatives. Collaboration and building positive relationships with key stakeholders is key to the success of this role. This is a wonderful opportunity for a curious, analytical and commercially sound Supply Planner to join the Great Australian Food Company
This role can be based at our Wetherill Park site (NSW) or Docklands office (VIC)
Responsibilities- Manage orders with 3rd party suppliers ensuring stock is available when required- Provide forecasts to suppliers at agreed frequencies- Daily reporting and root cause analysis of issues- Replenishment planning and management of Finished Goods stock levels at DCs- Continuous improvement of systems and processes- Support planning team with other activities as required such as short-term leave cover
About you- Experience in similar role, with an excellent understanding of supplier management and replenishment- A ‘Can Do’ attitude with a high level of resilience for fast paced environment- Strong analytical skills and rational decision making with some negotiation skills- Proficiency using technology tools that enable planning and reporting - SAP, MS Excel, PowerBI- Strong communication skills with an ability to develop relationships and engage with your key stakeholders.
