**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. Reporting to the State Manager NSW, you will be responsible for planning, direction and coordination of all plant operations in accordance with company direction and strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Ensuring all OH&S requirements are met.
Plan, develop and co-ordinate manufacturing and production operations and activities, ensuring required level of quality and service is delivered to meet budget
Analysis of operational procedures to identify areas for system and process improvement
Assume full responsibility for production performance, cost and delivery
Lead with a focus on positive culture and maximising efficient and effective manufacturing process and practices
Effectively communicate ideas and solutions to leadership teams across operational and functional areas
Ensure compliance with third party certifications and business policies
Responsible for Purchasing and Inventory Control procedures in accordance with monthly demand and stock requirements
Maintain compliance with ISO9001:2015 Quality requirements
Ensuring all OH&S requirements are met
Maintain high level of employee/employer relationships
Responsibility for Production Planning and Logistics
To Be Successful
High degree of Quality & Safety Awareness
Extensive management experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of building and construction industry
Qualifications in Lean Manufacturing preferred
Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management or an MBA will be highly regarded
High level of written and verbal communication skills
