**The Location**:
Based in one of Australia largest cities this location has it all This is a fantastic base from which to explore the many treasures of the surrounding region. Explore historic townships, natural wonders, beautiful coastlines and the famous Snowy Mountains.

**The Facility**:
This is an acute care teaching hospital of approximately 600 beds, and a tertiary referral centre that provides a broad range of specialist services to the local and regional community. This is the largest public hospital in the region, supporting a population of almost 540,000, with strong links to community-based services that provide continuity of care for patients. The hospital is also the principal teaching hospital of the region with close links to the 17th best university in the world and number one in Australia.

**The Role**:
Our client has a very busy Emergency Department with a modern, expanded physical space consisting of a 5 bed resuscitation area, 30 acute beds, 16 short stay beds, fast track stream with a sub-wait and 14 treatment spaces and a dedicated paediatric area with 6 beds and 2 consult rooms.

One of the busiest EDs in the country seeing over 89,000 presentations per annum with approximately 20% paediatric presentations

There is potential for FACEMs to be involved in the Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service, the

**The Requirements**:

- You must hold the FACEM
- Or be assessed by ACEM as ‘substantially comparable’
