The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian (Rehabilitation Community) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Conduct home visits to deliver nutritional and dietetic services to consumers requiring home based rehabilitation care
- Provide time limited and goal oriented therapy to adults with rehabilitation needs
- Undertake routine Dietitian duties utilising evidence based practice principles and effective risk management strategies
- Participate in the identification, development and implementation of clinical practices, procedures, protocols and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of Nutrition services

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia
- Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)
- Drivers Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (30.4 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $38.70 - $56.89 per hour
