We currently have an opportunity for a talented and experienced **Systems Analyst **to join our Real Estate Services team. As the Systems Analyst you will work closely with both the property management and finance teams to help streamline existing procedures and develop innovated ways of working that help with the productive and strategic vision of Investa.
This position is crucial to act as the bridge between the IT Services Team and Finance team to translate requirements, as well as ensuring the validation and flow of information between various data sources. With the use of related systems and technologies you will design new IT solutions, financial solutions, modify, enhance and adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements. You will have a high level of technical expertise and clear insight into current business practices.
**Your role will be diverse, span across different areas, responsibilities include;**
- Work with property management teams to design and implement systems that assist with the timely and accurate preparation of Management Information and Reports
- Identify areas that would benefit from systems improvement
- Assist in designing, building, and testing systems for finance team
- Review and enhance existing systems to identify gaps
- Build cost effective and efficient solutions to enhance the finance function
- Develop new reports that utilise data in an effective manner
- Work with internal customers to develop one-touch reports that are future-proofed and minimise risk
- Helping and training staff in how to utilise data in an effective and efficient manner
- Ensure that data within the systems is easily accessible to and understood by finance users
- Work with technology teams to ensure that integrations between systems are working in good order
- Ensure excel workbook links and formatting is functional and fit for purpose
- Develop accurate and robust technical documentation for systems
- Assist analysts with writing user guides and help manuals for property team members
**Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Information Science or related degree
- Experience working with the back-end/technical parts of an ERP
- Experience with power suite apps (Powerapps, PowerBi, Power Automate)
- Experience building new reports and dashboards for various audiences
- Experience and understanding of accounting and finance functions
- Experience working on technology projects and project-based initiatives
**Skills**
- An inquisitive, proactive nature and willingness to think outside the box
- Keen desire to learn new technologies and promote new ways of working
- Excellent communication skills, ability to think strategically and be detail focused
- Understanding of relational databases and database methodology
- Ability to write technical documentation and diagrams
- Understanding of and ability coding with relational query languages - SQL, MDX, DAX etc.
- Understanding of and ability coding with object-oriented languages - Visual Basic, C, Python etc.
**Knowledge**
- Ideally a working knowledge of the property industry
- Knowledge of systems design & development best practices
