We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join the Warehouse team at Lorna Jane HQ office located in Eagle Farm.

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the Lorna Jane warehouse.

This opportunity will see you support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of Lorna Jane product.

You Will
- Assist in recruiting, training, and managing warehouse team members.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to enhance productivity, teamwork and culture.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement strategies for operational excellence.
- Ensure team members are following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and retrieval of products in an organized and efficient manner, including external facilities.
- Manage inventory location prioritisation.
- Run reporting, analysing the data to plan inventory management strategies.
- Create container unloading plans and co-ordinate the team to execute.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Liaise with internal stake holders to ensure inventory is ready for sales strategies.
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Manage order prioritization and work with the team to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Address any order discrepancies and resolve customer issues.
- Provide regular reports to the Warehouse Manager on performance, areas for improvement, and suggested process enhancements.
- Support in the processing of B2B orders.

About You
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary and adapt to changing priorities.
