We are looking for an experienced Lean Partner to share with us their manufacturing excellence skills, their positive attitude and to join our dedicated,high achieving Lean team. We need a great team player, who is also a strategic thinker, and a first class communicator with the ability to lead and implement change.
This role is pivotal in delivery of our Lean strategy and offers an exciting mix of cross functional projects as well as the opportunity to develop your career within one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Sydney.

**What you’ll do**
Reporting to the Site Lean & Strategy Lead, the Lean partner using their calm, inclusive and pragmatic approach, combined with their energy, resilience and influencing skills will empower people to unlock their potentials. Your ability to connect and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, build credibility and execute projects will be central to your success. For you to successfully contribute to this team, you must be able to work in an agile environment and leverage your strong organisational skills, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- This role involves:_
- Provide lean expertise input to the development of departmental lean strategies and champion assigned workstreams
- Coach the site Lean Coaches, Manufacturing teams and Support Services on process ownership approach and ensures the site follows Standard Ways of Working with a process for improvement.
- Improve lean maturity and business performance as per Manufacturing Excellence strategy
- Lead specific projects and activities to realise agreed outcomes/benefits
- Present information and recommendations for discussion at higher levels within the business and influences decisions
- Collaborate with both the leadership team and the site Lean team members, both at site and across AZ by working collaboratively.
- Seek input and demonstrates appreciation for diverse views and works across boundaries to establish common purpose and goals to deliver value to the business.
**Essential for the role**
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related discipline. (or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of statistical process control, data analysis, diagnostic tools, and techniques.
- Demonstrated capability to lead process improvement efforts.
- Working knowledge of DMAIC and Lean Tools such as Kaizen
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Effective internal consulting skills with all levels of management.
**Desirable for the role**
- 7 - 10 years industry related experience in Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs.
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating teams and groups in lean, six sigma and process improvements.
- Working knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Mini-Tab, SPC-XL or other statistical analysis software, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
