We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitters with maintenance turnaround/shutdown experience. This is for a short-term position as part of our team supporting the upcoming 2025 Ampol Shutdown, commencing on approx. **6th August**for approx. **5-6 weeks.**

This is a good short-term opportunity to earn **EXCELLENT RATES**, while still being based at home.

As this is a Brisbane-based role, locally based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skill set and experience.

Applicants **must have full work rights**in Australia to be considered for the role.
- Demonstrable strong commitment to safety
- Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated
- Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.
- Trade qualified and working within a heavy industry environment for at least 5 years
- Previous Shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage
- You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
- Flange management, Hydrotesting, Valve and pipe installation experience required
- You must have in-date current **Working at Heights**and **Confined Space**tickets to work on the Shutdown **- validity 3 years from date of issue, not expiring before 30 September 2025**:

- Penalty rates apply
- Must be available for a **Wood medical ASAP**, after providing the required tickets.
