We are looking for an ICP-MS New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Manager to join the ICP-MS marketing team. This hands-on role will cover all aspects of the development lifecycle for ICP-MS hardware products including creating product roadmaps, bringing the voice of the customer to NPI projects, working closely with R&D and other functions to create and validate new ICP-MS instrument and accessory hardware designs and developing marketing and commercialization strategies and content for new product releases. This role is based in Melbourne, Australia but has global responsibilities working within multinational teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead all the marketing aspects of new product introductions for ICP-MS hardware products
- Collect voice of customer feedback and perform market research to uncover customer pain points, customer segmentation and portfolio opportunities/gaps
- Perform technology/product market & competitive analyses
- Develop product roadmaps based on customer input, business goals and R&D technology innovations
- Define product specifications from concept phase of development through launch and post launch
- Work closely with R&D teams as part of the NPI process to ensure customer requirements are met and projects meet their ramp to volume, timeline, planning and budget objectives
- Work with the commercialization manager and marketing communications (MARCOM) team to develop marketing and commercialization plans.
- Lead content development and create marketing content for ICP-MS products and projects
- Work closely with sales teams to understand and support sales channel needs.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Masters or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or a related field highly preferred.
- 5+ years of ICP-MS experience required.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience in working with global markets and customers.
- Ability to work independently: to plan, prioritize workload, schedule time, assess and solve problems.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and comfortable presenting to high level audiences both internally and externally.
- Product management experience highly desirable.
- Experience with digital marketing approaches such as SEO, SEM, etc. is highly desirable
- Ability to travel world-wide and available for 10-20% business travel
