***are a labour hire and specialist recruitment company working with some of Australia’s largest and leading civil and rail projects.
We are working on behalf of our client, who are a leading provider specialising in engineering, structural, mechanical and piping. Due to recent projects awarded they are in need of a qualified Boilermaker, immediate start.
**_What you get:_**
- $50/hr + penalties + travel + meal
- Ipswich based projects
- 10/hr shifts including penalties
- Plenty of shut-down work available
- Temp-perm positions available
**_The Role:_**
- Perform precision welding using various techniques, including arc, MIG and TIG
- Weld and fabricate rail components, structures, and equipment parts as needed.
- Conduct necessary repairs and reinforcement through welding processes.
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and adhere to rail industry safety standards
- Comply with welding and rail regulations to ensure quality and safety.
**_The Requirements:_**
- Boilermaker trade certificate
- White Card, RIW Card & SARC required
- MIG & TIG welding required. Any Flux knowledge is a bonus
- Proven experience in precision welding, preferably in a rail or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with rail components and structures is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
