- Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care, housing and services. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania
- Our Port Melbourne Hostel provides accommodation and care to older people who require assistance with daily living and personal care.

**Your new role**
- Wintringham is currently seeking experienced and proactive individuals to join our tight-knit and friendly Domestic Services team at our Port Melbourne Hostel. There are multiple shifts available working from 0800-1600. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will be working across our cleaning, kitchen and laundry teams. Be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, where your dedication to excellence is recognised and valued.
- Available shifts include:

- Week 1: Monday (2 shifts available), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (0800-1600)
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (2 shifts available) (0800-1600)

**Your responsibilities and duties will include**:

- To clean resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, cleaners and staff room as scheduled
- To replenish & maintain stock levels
- Cleaning & Laundry duties as per schedule
- To ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times
- To assist with the preparation and serving of all Meals, Drinks and Snacks in the kitchenettes
- Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role - preferably in Aged Care/Health Care
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A non-judgmental approach to working with people
- Qualifications and experience in food handling, infection control, manual handling and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous)
- Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous)
- Physically able to perform manual tasks including (but not limited to) bending & lifting
