Job Summary

This role is responsible for demand and raw material planning, logistics and material inventory controlling. This role will work closely with the finished goods planning team and warehouse team.

Responsibilities/Description:

- Raw material planning, logistics and material inventory controlling
- Expediting deliveries and shipment from suppliers or freight forwarders.
- Will need to efficiently manage raw materials vendor’s and avoiding early delivery
- Ability to liaising with suppliers
- Coordinate with Inward Goods and Quality Control for any urgent required materials.
- Reporting and resolving inventory issues.
- Maintain raw material and vendor updates
- Determine safety stock and forecasting of raw materials
- Analyse root causes for stock shortage and take appropriate actions.
- Analyse root causes for overstock and take appropriate actions.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Background in planning / purchasing role with business acumen
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work with autonomy
- Very high attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communications
