Join our dynamic team in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. As the Recreation Coordinator you will play a key role in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (BIRU). You will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored recreation services to patients. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with patients and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds, designing activities that promote recovery and enhance their ability to live fulfilling lives. **About You**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled **Recreation Coordinator** who is passionate about empowering patients through meaningful recreational activities. To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:

- **Skills and Abilities**: Strong teamwork, independence, advocacy skills, and proficiency in recreational activities such as art, craft, and sport.
- **Experience**: Proven experience working with adults with neurological conditions, brain injuries, and within interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
- **Knowledge**: A sound understanding of rehabilitation principles and adherence to relevant legislation, including the Equal Opportunity Act and Work Health and Safety Act.
- **Attributes**: Excellent communication, report-writing skills, and the physical capability to perform a wide range of duties.
