**About Your Role**

The District Senior Social Worker role plays an integral role as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide social work assessment and intervention to current inpatients across Murrumbidgee Local Health District’s rural operations sites, focusing on complex care planning and overcoming psycho-social barriers to discharge or transfers of care from any MLHD facility.

The Level 4 Senior Clinician’s breadth of knowledge and expertise is such that they provide a consultancy service on a range of clinical areas within their discipline across the geographical footprint of the district.
