**About the Business**

Community Investment and Support is responsible for the provision of many vital services to the South Australian public to help build stronger and better-connected communities. The division provides screening of those who work with children or vulnerable people, as well as procurement of goods and services for the department, including important social services from the not-for profit sector.

The division also provides grants and commissions services to promote economic participation, as well as a range of concessions to the community, and interpreting and translating services to both public and private organisations.

**Role Details**

The Programs Financial Analyst is a role within Community Investment and Support and is accountable to the Manager, Community Programs and Partnerships for:

- The provision of financial analysis and administrative support for the Community Programs and Partnerships Team.
- Monitoring payments and expenditure across more than 100 service contracts and grants to ensure the effective management of community services.
- Developing appropriate systems to support the effective management of activities and information relevant to Community Programs and Partnerships outcomes.
- Identifying, developing, and implementing continuous improvement strategies and projects.

Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Provide high level executive, business analysis and management support to the Manager, Community Programs and Partnerships to contribute to efficient business operations.

2. Develop systems, reports, procedures, and controls to assist the Manager, Community Programs and Partnerships and team contract managers to monitor and manage funding for procurements, contracts, programs, and budgets.

3. Accurately maintain grant and contract expenditure records with a high degree of detail to support evidence based decision-making.

4. Manage payments and recoveries for grants and procurements.

5. Manage communications with funded stakeholders relating to their financial relationship with Community Programs and Partnerships.

6. Establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.

Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.

**Special Conditions**

National Police Check required.
Tertiary qualification in relevant administrative/financial practices/accounting discipline is desirable.

**Role Status**: Term up to 31/05/2025

**Salary Range**: $85,790-$95,413 (ASO5)

**Location**: Adelaide
