Junior Industrial Designer

You will be joining a small but bespoke team of Graphic and Industrial Designers who work together, taking designs from brief to concept and final design, producing high-quality 3D visualizations and comprehensive construction drawings of new innovative products. You will be working both collaboratively and independently to ensure the best possible project outcomes.
This position is an extremely creative role so you must be able to think outside the box and generate concepts quickly, through sketching and quick modelling with consideration of materials and manufacture. You will be working alongside other designers, drafters, landscape architects, manufacturers, and structural engineers to develop your concepts further.

Great opportunity for an industrial designer with five or more years of experience to play an important part in the innovation of new products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Designing and developing high-quality, aesthetically pleasing products that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and refine design concepts, including brainstorming sessions, sketches, and 3D models.
- Developing detailed product specifications, including CAD models, renderings, and technical drawings using SolidWorks, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Suite.
- Conducting product research and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensuring that all designs meet customer and regulatory requirements, as well as manufacturing constraints and quality standards.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design concepts are understood and executed as intended.
- Providing design guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Adobe Suite.
- Knowledge of Rhino 3D and Keyshot
- Excellent design, sketching, and rendering skills.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Assisting in general day-to-day office responsibilities.
- You must be a permanent resident or Australian citizen and have the ability to work full-time.
