We are seeking compassionate and dedicated NDIS and Aged Care Support Workers to join Altido. As an essential part of our organisation, you will provide support and care to Aged Care and NDIS individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives. Your role will include assisting with daily living activities, such as domestic assistance (light duties), basic personal care, providing emotional support, and advocating for the best possible care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care such as personal hygiene helping them shower, get dressed and oral hygiene and nail.
- Help with cooking and doing dishes, planning meals, groceries.
- Social activities, unaccompanied shopping and running errands.
- Assisting with light housework, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen, cleaning bathroom and laundry.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients (social engagement) and build confidence.
- Prompting and/or assistance with self-administration of medication (adhering to the criteria for self-administration) and keeping accurate records
- Advocating for clients to ensure they receive the services and support they require.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and support networks.
- Keep up-to-date records of daily activities and client progress.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
