Childcare Educator (Certificate III) to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

and

Diploma qualified educator to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

**About Us**

The Children’s Preschool is located in the Sydney Hills District. The service has a professional, kind and supportive team that provides quality education and care for 39 children aged between 3 - 6 years old.

There is an emphasis on creating a home-like environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. We have a close-knit and supportive community of educators, families and children.

**Selection Criteria for this position**:
**Legislative**
- Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Children services qualification
- Current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Current Working with Children Clearance check
- Current Child Protection training and understanding of Mandatory Reporting procedures.
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Authorisation to work in Australia

**Professional**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ensure a high-quality early education program is implemented.
- Provide children with a warm and nurturing setting to thrive.
- Provide a safe physical environment whilst providing an engaging and meaningful play-based program.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a vibrant and cohesive culture.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators
- Actively contribute to the educational program, observations and documentation, using a digital platform and informal opportunities to communicate regularly on our children’s progress and experience with their families.
