**The Opportunity**:
We are now looking to welcome an
**Experienced Health and Safety Advisor**. This position will be based in
**Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing the safety management procedures and controlling on-site audits
- Liaising with project personnel and subcontractors to discuss issues and/or incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Encouraging and promoting continuous development by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices
- Creating and maintaining ISO qualified workplaces across all aspects of health and safety
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance controls
- Work on all project types (Civil, Marine, Dredging, including works in the Pacific) and travel to intrastate and interstate projects

**About You**:

- Demonstrated background Health and Safety experience in mining, civil or marine industries (preferred) or a similar role
- Previous experience in setting up and implementing easy to use, yet all-encompassing systems
- A system focused and results orientated personality
- Highly engaging and clear communication skills to capture peoples' attention
- Ability to create rapport and build relationships with those around you
