**The Emergency Department**:

- Encounter an exceptional and diverse case-mix offering a comprehensive clinical experience, encompassing pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology.
- Features a 48-bed capacity, handling 75,000 presentations annually, with a 30% admission rate.
- Led by a FACEM, the department emphasizes team-based care.

**Training Opportunities**:

- Accredited 18-month training with ACEM.
- Access ACEM Primary and Fellowship Exam preparation programs.
- Accredited pediatric logbook.
- Benefit from weekly protected teaching time.
- Dedicated non-clinical time for active participation in departmental activities.
- Receive one-on-one bedside ultrasound teaching by a certified Sonographer to develop skills in AAA and eFAST, fulfilling CCPU requirements.
- Gain access to non-ED rotations, including anaesthetics, intensive care, pediatrics, and general medicine.
- Avail the opportunity to attend hospital courses such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), ALS 2, Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training course (PROMPT), and a biannual accredited Ultrasound Course.
