The Opportunity

Seqirus has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager to join us on a permanent basis. The Seqirus Engineering Maintenance Departments provide maintenance services for facilities and equipment for our Parkville site to produce pharmaceutical products.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Director, your role will include:

- Manage the activities of the Engineering Maintenance Departments you'll deliver reliable, high quality services to the site
- Provide maintenance and engineering services within budget constraints, following the standards of the TGA, FDA, ISO and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensure the safe and proper maintenance of the facilities and services plants to deliver reliable operation
- Manage the operation of a maintenance team carrying out repairs and a planned maintenance program
- You'll develop routine preventative maintenance strategies and foster a 'no downtime' culture
- Create Engineering Maintenance continuous improvements and reliability improvements

Your skills and experience
- You have a Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical or chemical) from a recognised tertiary educational institution, together with eligibility for professional membership of the relevant College of the Institute of Engineers, Australia
- At least ten years experience in maintenance or plant management, including managing personnel working on automated or semi-automated process plant
- You'll utilise your sound knowledge of management and accounting principles as applied to large engineering operations
- Hands-on Engineering/Maintenance experience including knowledge of Quality Assurance and an understanding of ISO Standards
- You'll demonstrate excellent management skills, including preparing and controlling budgets
