We are seeking a talented and experienced Security Partner Relationship Manager for our client based in Sydney on a 6-month contract role. This involves partnering with digital product teams to uplift their security posture by evaluating people, processes, and practices by recommending prioritised security initiatives to reduce their cyber risk and uplift in secure by design.

Key accountabilities:

- Develop an understanding of the product by developing high level architecture and process sequence diagrams and data flows
- Mapping of the product network architecture and security controls, network segmentation, IP subnets, protocols, and certificates
- Creating product team data flows with trust boundaries, protocols used and access controls
- Undertaking threat modelling and highlighting areas at risk
- Completing a DevSecOp maturity assessments
- Reviewing other security risks highlight by various activities e.g. vulnerability scanning, API review etc, external AWS audit etc
- Developing a prioritised list of security activities to address the teams’ key areas of risk

Key challenges:

- Managing stakeholders’ expectations with competing product and project delivery priorities and tight timeframes
- Actively uplifting the product team’s security knowledge and capabilities whilst aligning to their agile ways of working
- Designing product team practices that uplift maturity whilst ensuring risk is addressed appropriate through these practices

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Tertiary qualification and industry certifications
- At least 8 years' relevant experience
- Product development experience - full-stack and mobile will be given precedence
- Application Security experience - threat modelling experience is a big plus
- DevOps - experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services - gitlab CI/CD is a big plus
